The merchant was launched in July 2020 to support a growing collection of wineries in Napa Valley. The collection includes Heitz Cellar, Burgess Cellars and Stony Hill Vineyards, all wineries with a deep heritage in Napa Valley, as well as four new brands rooted in distinct wineries, including Brendel and Ink Grade Estate. Demeine Estates volume growth exceeded expectations with revenues increasing by over 60%.

In June 2021, Demeine Estates celebrated the addition of its first international winery to the portfolio with the champagne house, Maison Legras & Haas based in Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs.
