Winters’ premier wine and food tasting event returns on Friday, October 14, landing for the first time at the Winters Hotel, where dozens of wineries will spill into downtown to create an autumn evening. really memorable on the city.
Local wineries and others will mingle with local food vendors and event-goers for another iteration of this legendary biannual event, which raises money for the Rotary Club of Winters Community Foundation, according to a press release from the Winters Rotary Club.
Scheduled wineries include Coppola Wines, Grgich Hills Estate, Rutherford and many more. In addition to hosting food and wine vendors, Rotary also hosts a silent auction. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased from any Rotarian, in town at Pacific Ace Hardware and First Northern Bank, and online at mynorcaltickets.com/events/food-and-wine. Hotel guests receive a 20% discount on their stay that night.

“We are now focused on fundraising for the upcoming Winters Senior Center,” Buley continued. “Jessicca Kilkenny and her team are planning another one of our legendary nights out for our friends and neighbors to help us make it happen.”
Button Transportation, Carbahal & Co. Double M Trucking, First Northern Bank and Vintage Paving are sponsoring the event. The event is made possible by the Winters Hotel and, in particular, Rotarian John Lorenzo of Lorenzo’s Market, who joins in the sponsorship.
