Somnio: A 728-foot “yacht Liner” with 39 luxury residences tailor-made for the wealthy

As the world’s leading shipyards and naval architects try to outdo themselves, we are seeing some of the shipping industry’s most outrageous proposals. The gargantuan sizes of commercial types such as freighters, passengers, and cruise ships are nothing new. However, two reputable yacht design companies are teaming up for something grand. Here is the magnificent Somnio!

Imagined by the creators of Winch Design and Tillberg Design, this platform will redefine luxury living. We call it that because Somnio is more than just a ridiculous display of wealth. Of course, there are people who can call on the best in the business to build one, but it’s all about marketing a unique and extravagant lifestyle.

Why stop at luxury residences on dry land when you can also have one at sea? According to the team, this project will see a 728-foot ship sail from any port to any point in the world. Meanwhile, the elite can choose from 39 upscale accommodations on board with varying levels of opulence to suit their needs.

Still, while some of our wealthy friends are eager to secure a spot, there’s no guarantee that they’ll be there. live in harmony aboard the Somnio.

Those lucky enough to do so will have access to amenities that would easily rival their land-based counterparts. The “yacht liner” is rightly in a class of its own. Residents and their guests can enjoy a variety of restaurants, a beach club / marina, a wine cellar that can hold up to 10,000 bottles and much more. Work on the Somnio will begin in early 2022.
