Treat yourself to a luxurious city break with Parmelia Hilton Perth
Nestled in the heart of Perth, a world of class and a touch of luxury awaits you at the Parmelia Hilton on Mill Street.
Everything ready for my first stay here, I walked into the lobby and was instantly struck by the smell of a fancy hotel (you know this one) as I made my way through a simple check-in and nice and took the elevators to the 10th floor.
Upon arriving at room 1021, I impatiently walked through the door to find my grand suite teeming with luxury and exclusivity.
The interior of the suite was an old-fashioned classic style mixed with modern chic, with marble stone countertops, soft lighting, dark wood furnishings, and a simple palette of brown, gray, and gray. beige with a touch of burgundy. It’s an absolute sight to walk in and left me overwhelmed by the space and the simple beauty of it all.
Classic meets modern – The sequel
The Premier King Suite features a spacious king bedroom with a separate living room, access to a private balcony, a large bathroom with bathtub and walk-in closet, two flat-screen TVs and a minibar with coffee maker.
The room was in perfect condition on arrival, apparently untouched by anyone before me. The champagne was popped as we sat in the living room and relaxed on the sofa cushions, absorbing the natural light streaming through the sheer curtains.
The bathroom was a highlight, with a tub large enough to accommodate three of me and a marble wall that worked perfectly with the clean, white interior lit by light strips.
The balcony ran the entire length of the room, and while there wasn’t much to see other than the buildings in the middle of town, it was still a nice breath of air. costs. The hotel’s central location also meant that we were within walking distance of some of the best bars and restaurants on offer in Perth, so no need for an Uber if you want a few drinks.
The bed was a dream to sink into with plenty of pillows and space for a relaxing night’s sleep, supported by a wooden frame and dark brown leather headboard for a touch of elegance and warmth .

A Culinary Experience – Samuel On Mills
After relaxing during our stay, we headed to the lobby for our three course meal at Samuels on Mill with high expectations after seeing the room.
Upon entering, I was struck by the same relaxing vibe that echoed throughout the hotel.
The interior was dark and moody, lit by a few warm lights to create an intimate space with a relaxed but still luxurious feel. A wall of wine separates the bar from the dining room filled with lighted bottles in a dazzling display, and you can see straight into the action with an open window at the end showcasing the kitchen.
The Samuels team creates inspired modern cuisine, making the most of local Western Australian produce in their dishes. It’s a fine dining experience with an explosion of fresh flavors in every dish.
Starting off strong, our pork belly entree was the highlight of the evening with perfectly cooked pork complemented by the sweet flavors of pineapple and cucumber. The only problem with this one was that there just wasn’t enough!
The Strawberry Sour cocktail which was recommended to me by our waitress was a delicious mix of sweet, creamy and fruity treats – although if you don’t usually go very sweet it might be a bit too much for you.
The main courses did not fail to disappoint, with tender lamb, sirloin and hand-cut fries delighting our taste buds even more.
Finishing off on a high note, the dessert absolutely blew us away as we immersed ourselves in the dark chocolate, creamy cheesecake, local stewed strawberries, refreshing raspberry and strawberry sorbet and the crispy honeycomb in a blast. of sweet and rich flavors.
