Tony Parker’s $19 Million San Antonio Mansion Is Still For Sale

The 53-acre Hill Country estate owned by former San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker and his ex-wife Eva Longoria is still for sale, despite having been on the market since late last year.

The $19.5 million home in the Anaqua Springs neighborhood near Boerne, which includes a water park, is still selling for its original price.

Binkan Cinaroglu, the listing agent for Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty, said he had been selective about who was allowed to view the sprawling complex.

“We’re in no rush,” said Cinaroglu, who declined to say if there had been any offers on the house. “We are concerned about very high quality screenings.”

Although the listing of the property is making headlines, Cinaroglu said the sale of the house has been “a very quiet process”.

“We haven’t tried to market it on all avenues in full force because it’s a more private type of sale,” he said.

Parker, who spent 17 seasons and won four championships with Spurs, bought the Anaqua Springs property in 2005, records show.

The gated property features 10 bedrooms, eight bathrooms and four half bathrooms. There are six bedrooms in the main house and four bedrooms in a guest apartment.

Indoor highlights include a temperature-controlled wine cellar that can hold up to 1,500 bottles, a home theater with stadium seating, two home offices and a gym of over 5,900 square feet. .

“It’s ahead of its time for San Antonio, but the city is changing fast,” Cinaroglu said. “This is a property that you will find in a larger market in the United States. San Antonio’s luxury market is starting to flourish with more properties and a larger clientele to invest that kind of money in this type of real estate.”

According to a recent Redfin report, San Antonio’s luxury market is among the hottest in the country. And as the market heats up, so does the price.

“Five years ago, a million dollars could buy a really nice house,” said Cinaroglu, who specializes in luxury real estate. “The ultra-luxury market has become the norm here compared to before. Very few sales were below $5 million back then. But the number is growing as the city grows.

The fact that Parker’s house didn’t sell isn’t all that unusual. It took country music legend George Strait four years to sell his 12-acre hilltop home in San Antonio’s Dominion neighborhood. Originally listed at $10 million, the price of the house has been reduced by several million dollars.

Outside of San Antonio, other basketball stars have struggled to sell luxury real estate. The Chicago-area mansion of retired NBA legend Michael Jordan has been on the market for 10 years, the Chicago Tribune reported.

For Cinaroglu, what makes Parker’s home unique is the privacy of the property and its amenities.

Outside there is a tennis court, sand volleyball court, greenhouse, herb garden, orchard and turtle enclosure. The star attraction is a huge water park with slides, lazy rivers, caves and a diving platform.

“It’s just a great compound if you want to be self-sufficient and not have to go anywhere,” Cinargoglu said.
