Elizabeth banks is one of the busiest people in Hollywood. She’s an actress, producer, screenwriter, game show host, director and, now, co-owner and creative director of Archer Roose, a luxury canned wine company.

However, Banks disagrees that she should be considered one of the busiest people in the world and joked, “I know I’m not as busy as I am. Kamala harris, there are busier, more important people [than me]… Thank God!”

Speak with ABC Audio after completing a 10 hour day filming your next movie Cocaine bear, Banks explained why she wanted to join the wine industry.

“Drinking wine is the most exciting part,” she said with a laugh before explaining that the pandemic is what pushed her to seek new opportunities.

“I like being busy, which is obvious,” Banks noted of the industry downturn. “I was looking for women-led businesses to support… to not only invest, but to find out how to be a real partner for someone.”

This research led Banks to the owner of Archer Roose Marian Leitner-Waldman, and a new partnership was born.

As to why she agreed to take on the additional responsibilities of CCO, the Perfect The director revealed: “It’s the narrative aspect that really turned me on… It’s my bread and butter. I like to make people laugh. “

When it comes to marketing the sustainability-conscious brand, Banks infuses “my own brand of brazenness” by creating “a little silly and a little silly” ads. One ad parodies how she and Leitner-Waldman met, describing Banks as an uninvited guest who refuses to leave.

Banks also explained how she manages to balance all of her extra responsibilities, revealing that it all comes down to planning.

“You adapt to the things that matter to you,” she explained. “[And] this is something that is really close to my heart.
